Hello all.
Lately there has been a huge influx of users entering our IRC live support requesting help on issues not covered by our team.
These include, but are not limited to:
- Complaining about your Jedi rumor(s)
- Asking for help/advice with the path the Jedi
- Asking GM's for favors (Can you warp me to Coronet cantina)
- Bug reporting
- Making false/unsubstantiated claims of cheating by other players
- Complaining about issues relative to the forums or IRC (threads, locks, deletes, infractions)
- Requesting help with basic game-play (how do I do missions, how do I put on armor)
- Requesting information readily available in the FAQ and our forums.
- Seeking a good deal on a Disney fairy lamp (thanks Renala)
Please understand, the primary purpose of IRC Support, and the time our volunteer staff puts into it, is to assist with in-game issues. While we make accommodations to help with just about anything we're capable of, it is a huge time sink and use of resources to provide live 24 hour volunteer coverage in IRC. If our people burn out, Support closes. You can help us by utilizing it only for specific issues.
Please, make a concerted effort to find answers yourselves before seeking live help, and do not burden the staff with issues that are out of the realm of Support.
