Exclamation TC:Nova Downtime and Wipe 03/17 - 3/19 [OFFLINE]

UPDATED SATURDAY MARCH 22, 2009

From Oru, 3/22:
I would like to give a fast update on the server status. Since we changed platform to 64-bit, we have faced a lot of trouble and it wasn't core3 that was problematic. Seems the 64-bit version of Debian is not as well tested as it supposed to be but thankfully TA was managed to fix most of the related problems. However there seems to be some networking errors now, i don't know if it's our engine or the provider but zone keeps bouncing back people to the login screen after the zoning process is initialized. We are going to try to fix this as soon as possible! We would like apologize again for all the downtime.

I do live in America, but no I am not American. I am in the Bay Area, so I have no idea where is Denver in relation to Chicago. I know Chicago is next to great lakes, no idea where is Denver!

ok, that makes me feel better denver is pretty much smack dab in the middle (ish) of the continental US, so yes it is closer to Cali

This is awsome, It's only about 2 hours away, (not as many I-net conections to go through) so I shouldnt have as much lag. Thats way cool.

One question:
If it was taken down late on Monday March 16, and it will be down for about 24 hours, how is the expected uptime Wednesday march 18?

March 16. + 24 hours= march 18.

was a predicted time.

I for one am thrilled about the new location for 2 reasons :

1. I live in denver (when im not where I am now....)
2. one step closer to suncrusher

Cant wait to see how the new server runs
