Well obvously with everything going on,when the devs made the post they were probably going on the assumption that it would be done bi-weekly.

Updates depends on many factors, whats completed, whats nearly completed and the other would be if they havent had chance to do an update post yet.I for one would rather see work being done and only have say 1 update a month than have several updates every week saying...well we have nearly completed this/that.

Hey dont bash the devs they are doing somthing that we have wanted for almost 4 years now. If you can do it faster or better than you should step up and try helping a little But for now I think or devs are doing a good job.

True, just think about it

Crafting =

Adding ALL the additional resource spawns for each planet for animal resources

Adding harvest to Scout with additional code to calc the amount by skill level

Adding code to handle assembly to emulate exactly the +/- pre-cu

Creating the additional code to handle experimentation with proper pre-cu formulas

Entering a boatload of schematics into the database so we actually have something to craft.

adding code to handle the factories for production of stackable components which a lot of the boatload of schematics require.

...and this is just a short overview without all the wonderful tidbits in between.

The devs can take all the time they want to get it where they feel it is stable enough to start letting us play with it. But I am still willing to sit there all day and craft bofa treats if you want me to

PS: I have been testing loot every day on each planet and it is really starting to look awsome. Today I had flashbacks it was so close to pre-cu on rates/planet/mob.

I agree, some times things change and we cannot always keep our promises, Im sure with so much going on and yet soo close to their goal that the bi-weekly forum update has lost a bit of its priority, Ya know, instead of wasting your time infront of your computer thinking of new ways to diss the devs, you could go get a paypal account and send them 100 bucks to help get the project moving agian...hmm I wonder how much faster the projuect would move along if every member sent in 100 buck right now...Lets see carry the 1, 7+4 iss....

As most have stated, we are here for you devs because together we are a community working toward a common goal each in our way. Things will come when they come and we will be here when you need us to work with it at that time. We are your support team not your customers. We all appreciate all the work that has gone into this project over the years in all its variations and have enjoyed working with you all.

/target devs
/kowtow

Now, with that said I would like to release a transcript of a conversation between a un-named community player and a dev which happened last night on IRC.

DEV: Everything is under control. Situation normal.

PLAYER: What happened?

DEV: Uh...had a slight code malfunction. But, uh, everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

PLAYER: We're sending a test team in.

DEV: Uh, uh, negative. We have a database leak here now. Give us a few minutes to lock it down. Large leak...very dangerous.

PLAYER: Who is this? What's your forum ID?

*DEV blasts private IRC chat window and it explodes*

DEV(in dev channel): Boring conversation anyway. Ok guys lets rock!
