Just take a look at the Trac Timeline (http://trac2.assembla.com/swgemu/timeline) and the speed at which we are committing changes to the OR codebase. Things are moving forward quickly.

That being said, we aren't going to take time out to code non-essential hotfixes like putting a superficial limit on cities per planet. When we code it right and commit it to OR, it will make it to NOVA. Properly.

Good job, but leave out the blue frogs. They just ruin half your testing.

Give us a day to throw a party, then just do it already. The sooner the better, you'll have lots of enthusiastic testers if you put the OR in now!

How long will the Blue Frogs be up? Blue Frogs ruin the fun. I understand we have to start out with them but just curious how long the will be up for.

You know, this would be a definite game changer here. I ground architect one brick at a time. Using resources I gathered, making a brick at a time I thought I was gonna die when I made my first guild hall by hand on day 5. Eventually, I had four structure factories going 24/7 (three almost always making nothing more than bricks) but getting to that point was a huge grind.

No gungan head statues either.

Put everything out without blue frogs and you will immediately solve the problem with too many cities being placed.

I hope this actually went out after I got booted tonight because they are actually doing it. Be nice to start from jump with everyone, a new economy, and a sprint for prime lots for cities. Plus with buildings everyone may spread away from cnet and you might be able to find people on other planets.

It's been exciting watching trac for the last couple of months (guess many of the old TC code modules(?) did work in the OR with just a little gussying up?), and it's great to see a long list of developers pitching in again. Thank you so much, all of you.

These games have been a passion for me for over a decade now, and I now really do think I might get to play one great MMORPG again before the whole industry cannonballs into the cesspool of dumbed down mediocrity. Again, thanks.
