Just double click on your character and WOOOILA you are ingame. You don't need magic powder for this. If you ain't in game the server is OFFLINE

Hmm...
I can log in fine, but when it gets to the Select A Character screen, I click on the create a character button, then select the galaxy I would like to be in, but when I do, the Connecting to the Galaxy screen never goes away so I can't move on to the next screen which I'm assuming is to create a character.
Is there any way for me to fix that or what?

The server is down. Check the top of every page for the server status:

If you can't get in then its 99% of the time that the server is down.

I log in like normal then when I select a character and try to get into the game it says connecting to galaxy... and wont ever stop trying to connect, same thing with when I try to make a new character

And it says ALL servers are up

Server is deadlocked. See upcoming CSR annoucements.
