Lol, I've been waiting for my character to generate for about half an hour, how long does this take?!

This is exciting. Got on this morning before school for about 10 minutes.

Glad to see bugs are already being addressed.

Anyone know whether or not the wipe scheduled for tomorrow is still happening?

If so, will that likely take longer/shorter than it took for the update to come up?

I haven't been on IRC since I'm at work/school but I read here that they (mods) on IRC were confirming the wipe -- as for time, I'm not sure about that.

The update has been up for awhile now. Log in - enjoy. *It will be wiped again tomorrow, but not again for some time after that.

Generators and harvesters were added a while back and should be working.

Hah, I'd just like to point out how awesome it is that in one day this thread already has 37 pages of replies.

just a tip for some of the newer guys , and i am far from an expert but if you get in a group with people that know skills you need, they can train you( like if you need unarmed II), so you can save money that way, so between that and the 1K plus rewards you get from mission rewards you should be ok, in the cash department, just don't pick a starting place that is out in the booney's where you cant get any help with teaching from other players

I gave up on doing missions when I ran out to my first mission objective and found it sitting 10m from a bunch of juvenile canyon krayt dragons. Luckily I had burst ready and was able to get away before they ate my face.
