This whole farce has been, and is an example of how immature a large amount of the community is when given the option to voice their opinion.

Disgusting.

DEVS: you guys will get bashed whatever you do, because no matter how much something will or won't benefit a community, someone will -ALWAYS- whine about it.

Make a plan, and stick with it.
Unless it's NGE.

On the brighter side at least now I know how it feels to be a voter in Florida.

First of all, thanks to the Dev's and Mods. Not for the outcome of this issue necessarily, but for showing showing some consideration to the community and their opinion. This is something that SOE didn't really do, and many are still have a bad taste in their mouths from it. You have nothing to bve sorry about from your end. Many on both sides have much to be ashamed about in their own behavior in this thread, however. We realize that not everyone can be made happy, but we are all have the same overall goal of a Pre-CU SWG server. To that end, I hope we can all work together.

If you guys decided to do a server wipe tomorrow or not, I would still be thankful for having a place to play SWG until the job is done.

Its not even about yes or no,

its about offering up a vote then throwing it all out the window

What if it had been 60% yes, 40% no and they decided to wipe?

See the principle of it?

Its not about the %, its about giving the voting process the big Saddam Hussein middle finger.

I would have support the outcome either way, but ignoring the results and/or not correcting the mistakes of screwed results is a disgrace

Um...so there's a majority to wipe twice and you're not going to do it? What was the point of this whole thing then. This is a test server, wipes happen.

At this point I don't believe there was any possibility of a wipe.

This was a ruse to satisfy complaints of cheats and exploits and they had no clue the community would vote in this manner.

This.

The staff are obviously out of touch with the community. They wonder why people turn on them, while the staff only does this all for the community, for free...

...it's because of issues like this.
