[POLICY] Duplicate accounts

Duplicate accounts are explicitly forbidden. Please do not create more than one account per person.
Over the past week, I've been going through the userlist and getting reports from moderators and CSRs about users with more than one account. So far, I've recieved over 200 private messages about this, at a rate of about 20 a day. If you screwed something up in registration, we will help you sort it out (see link below). But do NOT create a new account.

Good post Phantom it really makes things more complicated when you have so many accounts that you really don't need unless you were doing things your not supposed to :P

There is absolutely nothing good that someone could be doing with multiple accounts. If I have unrefutable proof of multiple accounts being on the Test Centre, I will not hesitate to take action. Do not think you can get away by logging off or running - thanks to Kyle CSRs now have the tools in place to check accounts and users even when people are offline.

im being a noob an cant find where it is can someone tell me how to delete this account or could one of you guys delete it, never realised we could dual log on one account so have transferred my buffers onto my main

Oh its okay since you didn't know yea you can dual log its much better than having two accounts, I'm sure one of the CSR's or Admins will delete it for you also make sure if you know anyone who does this notify them or if they do it on purpose and refuse to stop using the account when they realize the policy report them.

Thank you for that info guys. I created a second account because I couldn't create characters on my first and didn't realize it was forbidden. I will stop using that account now.

If there is an issue with one of your accounts which prevents you from using it - tell us in a support ticket at http://www.swgemu.com/support.

There are five of us here in this house that want to play... 3 of us (myself, my wife and my son) have accounts but as of now I'm the only active one. My wife logs now and then just to ride all over Tat and remember the good ol days and cant wait... the other 2 are still on WoW.

Would it be an issue to have 5 accounts in a household?

Hmm that's a tough one well I guess you would have to take turns playing on the same account with your family but Max can better answer *calls Max up to take the floor* XD

But is it okey to log multiple of times on 1 account? I just tried it out today, and it worked if it was live your character would be LD.

Yes multiple instances are fine as long as its only on one account
