SWGemu Project Status:
This thread is meant to be a simple way to keep the community updated on tasks that the DEV team is currently working on.
Last updated: 1/28/2009 Each subject will be divided into several tiers of completion: 1.Packet work finished 2.Preliminary coding has begun. 3.Preliminary coding is done, and groundwork is in place to begin detailed refining. 4.Feature is ready to be implemented and is probably in internal testing on private Core3 Servers. 5.Feature has been implemented for public testing on SWGEmu Test Center. We will try to update this every time the status of each section changes. a. Features 1.Preliminary Features Zoning in to world:2. Combat Features HAM updates (Damage, attack cost):3. Crafting Crafting:4. NPCs NPC Zone in:5.Player Housing, economy and municipalities Structure Placement:6. Galactic Civil War NPC Factional recruiters:7. Jump To Lightspeed Flight:__________________________________________________ _ The professions section will be broken up into several tiers of completion. 1.Preliminary research has been started. 2.Packet research is finished, programming has begun. 3.Profession has entered closed focus testing. 4.Profession has been put on Test Center for testing. 5.All profession features are finished, and verified working. **PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS SECTION IS DUE TO CHANGE WITH THE UPCOMING COMBAT REVAMP AND FIXES** b. Professions __________________________________________________ The database section will be broken up into several different tiers: 1.Primary Planning and SQL template layout complete. 2.Database has begun to be populated. 3.Database is complete. 4.Database is in it's usable form and ready to be implemented. 5.Database is in for public testing on SWGemu Core 3 server. c. Database Creatures:__________________________________________________ ____ d. Edits and Updates More information and sections will be added over time. Turned Skills to level 5. Seaseme - June 1st - Changed DB Trainers to level 5, Waypoints to level 4, factional ranking to level 4 Seaseme- June 4th - Added Music, Dancing, Shuttles, And titles and updated them to level 5. Also updated the NPC database to complete. Seaseme- July 07 - Updated Chat, Guild, Groups, missions and waypoints. Seaseme- August 24- put in Cell Movement and status Seaseme- September 14th - updated Vehicles and Tipping status. Seaseme- January 1st - Updated, Tipping, Resources, trading, harvesters, loot table, item acquisition, and planetary travel. Seaseme- January 16th - Updated structure placement, bazaars, venders, NPC Basic AI, Quests, and Cell Movement Seaseme- March 23rd - Updated all crafting list items to 4, soon to be 5. Updated Bazaars, and auctions. Seaseme- April 25th - Updated Default Attack to 5. Kyle- May 26th - Updated Crafting to 5 on experimentation and Item creation. Seaseme- July 13th - Updated Crafting to 5. Seaseme- October 20th – Added Professions Section and updated accordingly. Ekaika- Oct23 - Guild Chat & Interface elements bumped up to 5 Max - Nov13 - Added Droid Engineer Saromus - January 18th - Updated Professions: Ranger, Scout, and Squad Leader to 4. Saromus - January 19th - Added Badges, set to level 5; Added Camps and Containers and set to level 5. Saromus - January 28th - Moved Containers and Camps to appropiate category. Added Quests, Waypoints, and AI to JTL (set to Level 0), also added Factory Crates(Identical Crafting) under crafting, set to level 4. Seaseme - February 26th - Guild Administration to 5, Disband Guild to 5, Destroy Structure to 5, City Structure PLacement to 5, Harvesters to 5, Factional Ranking to 5, Bounty Hunter to 4, Combat Medic to 4, Commando to 4, Armorsmith to 4, Item Stats to 4. Wow! Amazing work, it seems as if coding for most features is done and alot of stuff simply needs to be tested.

Very nice list. It's great to know whats being worked on in this detail.
btw, I recommend switching the subject font color from light blue to a darker color.I had to highlight the entire post to see what the progress actually pertained to. (ahh, im the only one that commented on this, im too young for my eyes to die on meh) |
