You should try using your brightness and contrast at at least 90%. You will probably find your in game graphics to look better too. But, anyways, I will see if I can lighten the default text in posts and other places a shade or two and also I will try to make the text on the "New Thread", "New Reply", and "Donate" buttons a little darker so they stand out more.
Also, since I didn't make the header and orange nav buttons, It's hard for me to control them. Best I can do is have them overlap the logo on lower resolutions, though it is hard for me to fathom why anyone would use less than 1024x768 :P
