Besides crafting and fighting is the social aspect of this game, in the cantinas there are always peeps to swap war stories with, flirt with or just shoot the sh!t, changing your appearance is something that some enjoy via image designers, even standing in line for buffs is fun, 99% of the time there is fun banter going on while everyone waits, then there is building or maintaining a city or guild.

These are just a start of what goes on in SWG pre-cu, it is not like those other games, this is not a game it is an experience.

In bold is probably the best tag line to describe this game.

thats a really good tag im yet to experience it that in depth yet but im looking forward to doing so you make it sound like a gaming heaven

It really is. From the moment you login the first time and just take in the sites and sounds you can really loose yourself in it.

Damn straight.

One of my most vivid memories was maybe 1 1/2 months from launch, my second day I think it was, doing a mission from Mos Entha to Wayfar, by RUNNING. Vehicles were months away yet.

Here I am with barely any skills running across Tatooine trying to work around every red dot on the radar as if they were the plague, running for maybe half an hour.

About 2/3 into the run, it's just turned to nightfall, and a sandstorm comes up.

The sky almost turned completely black and you couldn't see 2 feet in front of you. The wild is howling, and you can see debris flying.

Such a simple moment, but so incredibly immersive it felt like you were there.

Then after it cleared, to approach Wayfar only to realize it was practically next door to Jabba's Palace as it loomed up on the horizon. Awe-inspiring is the only thing that begins to give it justice.

Or dawn as the twin suns rise... Special times indeed.

Haha, I totally remember that I remember as a noob fearing Scyks, and then I discovered the Squill...oh how I feared both of those creatures

Welcome to SWGEmu.

Stormy armor was lootable before, but non of the looted armor can be equiped at the moment, we can only hope that after OR all of that will change.
