They said that when the new site is up it will require registering your account again, however the new database will link to the old one to retrieve your information, Unless you use a new account name and password in which case it will be as if you just created an entirely new account.

Well yeah, I knew that already. But there aren't any specifics on how it will work (IE, post counts, join dates, etc.) I assume they'll be linked, but I can't really know for sure without clarification. :P

I was never more disgusted with a game until Soe raped and pillaged an amazing game to the bastardized version it is today. When I started looking up private servers for Swg I came upon the Emu. After digging around my house for my original disks and installing them, I was very skeptical that the game would not live up to what I had remembered. Although some professions are not implemented and there were 12 jedi in Coronet that day, it felt the same. So I say to all the contributors of the emu, thank you. And to the devs I say awesome job. Keep up the good work.
