Actually, the problem with it is the left nav -- wastes too much space at the bottom of a long scrolling page.

I like it, is a little bright but is "get use to it-able." The Navigation side makes it seem like the forums are being stuffed to one side of the screen. Look at the post above me for example. (For the non-wide screen people)

is this needed? or can some from the main page be removed to tidy things up a bit?

It is a wonderful theme and I love how the navbar is included, it integrates with the main site. Absolutely fantastic job Max! But, I must say I'm not a fan of bright backgrounds. I'll be sticking with 1.0, a little easier on the eyes. It's still a really great theme, I'm sure people who aren't used to staring at the forums for hours and hours will enjoy it.
