i think they did cause the motd is welcome to swgemu and not it will be wiped tomorrow dont get attached

The MotD has not been that since the wipe this morning at about 4am EST. There are no other scheduled wipes that I know of.

I too had thought I had gone nuts when I got this error. Glad to see its nothing to worry about.

Thank you for the heads up. Btw anyone know a good starter guide I played in 2004 and want to get back into hunting.

The login was floating up and down throughout the day up until about 4 hours ago. Please report back if you are still experiencing this problem AFTER the next restart. The server is currently deadlocked.

I think it should be added that getting stuck on "Connecting to the Galaxy..." also mean the server is down. I wasn't getting any of the other messages, instead it's just hanging. Maybe update the OP with that as well, in case anyone else comes looking for answers?

That would mean the server itself is down, not the login. A different matter.
