But like Kyle said, they approached said persons and gave them the option to cooperate for the good of the project or be banned. It reminds me of how some of the most infamous hackers are hired by the companies they hacked, as security consultants.

Well, I just got home and read this whole thread.....

I wanna thank Timbab, Uli, and Kay for keeping things straight.

I wanna think Ashur for helping to show himself for who he really is on these forums.

Bostwain has made some really good points.

Eokon comments should be read closely by all, because he made the most straight on points of the thread.

Finally Val, I have always supported Val and always will.

Now, one final point that I will make.

DEAR STAFF,

MAX is the best thing you guys have going for you in terms of community relations. I strongly suggest that you make whatever appologies etc you need to make to him. You have a very large asset to this project in him.

So basically, you're encouraging people to find and exploit glitches for unfair player advantages, and to add insult to injury, they're given a position on an "Exploitation Team" and are basically given the "OK" to hack and exploit all they want as long as they report what they find?

Basically, you're saying, "Hey, go out and ruin the game for others and hack to make them lose. We'll reward you for it."

How about instead of authorizing hacking you just look for the exploits yourselves?

Also, why are you just going back on the "Zero-Tolerance" rule for hacking? It was made 3 days ago, and already you're taking the damn thing back?
