Reasons for not open sourcing have been discussed. Even after its "100% complete" (never will be, its always in constant development like most software available)

rofl thats Ramsey, one of the devs of the EMU. Why would he need to prove that the devs decided not to go open source with a link of a discussion?

99.99% of conversations and discussions take place in IRC anyways

Expect it to be a very long time. How long is very long? My brother says it sounds like maybe 2 more years. Myself I don't think it will be that long. But I can say that I would be surprised if it came out this year. This is just my opinion. I hope I am wrong.
