I also find it reassuring that they're working on making regular expense reports available. Having those figures open to us should help us resolve many of the doubts we may have. I too respect the staff and trust them to some extent, but the main reason I've put off donating is I want to be certain my money will be put to good use. I'm sure many are in the same boat.

Though, as has been very directly said, spreading rumors publicly is unwise and inconsiderate. Even if one has some old basis for suspicion or doubt, voicing it just makes that person seem bitter and resentful. The staff has changed and is making further changes. We'd be wise to base our opinions on current facts.

But now I'm logging off of this tiring drama game and back onto THE game.

OMG I did not create http://paste2.org/p/562110 I just reposted the link that someone put up on irc.

We were speculating as to why we were being told one thing by max and another from the datacenter.... And what possable reasons there could be for the differrence.

Servers back up so drop it already it's a dead thread. I have stated a few times that I did not create the paste2 pic.... and that when i first was shown it thought it was a joke at the time.

Please do not ever call FDC or any other provider again on our behalf looking for information or complaining. We can deal with it. Multiple sources of contact and complain simply cause confusion, misinformation and mistakes.

I told you all on page 2 the situation regarding information confirmation and that being the reason for the delay.

I'm a bit offended right now to be honest. One day of down time and suddenly we're thieves? We'd better go call send the police to SW:ToR and SWG:NGE whose servers were also offline for maintenance today.

Ask for more information and then not believe it when you get it? Chux, thanks. Makes a lot of sense.

Why should anyone trust devs 100%?

You act like people have nothing on the line, but they have their own personal money being donated to the project. So they just were brainstorming reasons why the server wasn't up.

I am a little shocked that people responded this way.

We told you why it wasn't up. We provided you with adequate information through this thread and through IRC. To be frank, there is no other alternative when it comes to trusting the info the developers give. Either you believe it, or you don't. And if you don't you really should not remain a part of this community.

If you as a donator really can't take that for face value, you really shouldn't be donating in the first place. Donations are about trust and belief; belief in the cause you're donating towards, and trust of its well-use. If you do not have those two things, I would advise against donating.

Not trusting people is one thing, publicly accusing them of a crime is a completely different thing. And without any evidence at that.

If i didn't know better i would be inclined to believe that you purposely tried to discredit the STAFF and create a disturbance.

I think you have a duty to tell others if someone tells you that.

There is a new invention called PM, you use it to contact a member of the STAFF and let him confirm or deny your suspicions.

For what you did people in RL go to court, pay hefty fines even end up in jail mate.
