Actually they need to get rid of as much hard coded things as possible. Here's an example of hard coded programs versus dynamically coded programs.

You go to a webpage. It says "Hello World" and is made with just HTML. This is a hard coded website.

You go to Ebay. You search for an item. It searches it's database for all current listings that relate to the keyword you entered and displays a custom webpage that was created on the fly just for you. This is an example of a dynamic webpage.

Now here's how this relates to crafting in the emulator. If crafting were hard coded you would enter the crafting tool select a schematic and insert the resources. You use really horrible resources. You make the item and for some reason it has perfect stats! It was hard coded to make a perfect item and does not change any stats no matter how good or bad the resources were.

Ah thanks for clearing that, I'm not really a guru when it comes to code lol.

So let me reiterate:
I'm sure theres a lot more to code, but its awesome progress none-the-less!!

Damnit, I wish I had the skills to help.

How are things progressing with experimentation, and with variable outcomes owing to resource qualities?
