Well, all I can say is... I'm on a University connection, and even I didn't lag.

That being said, there are a LOT of other games I still lag in. I can't really even find a Battlefield 2142 server I don't get a bit of lag in. Hell, I have friends that lag in World of Warcraft all the time.

Thus, I'd say these patches were fairly successful.

I just got out of testing. I am on a slower connection (around 270kb), however this is the same connection when i played on SOE servers way back when (lag was rarely an issue until the CU). On many occasions I used modem dial up to play and it wasn't too terrible.

I am getting 50% packet loss and specials/heals/chat is really laggy taking up to 20-30 seconds before the action occurs. Granted there were a fair number of people in the server and i was getting ganked left and right.

Are there any tweaks i should be mindful of when using this "slower" connection? Anyone know if the emu is optimized for slower connections?

Just got on again since the first stress test and it's still looking sweet. Latency is perfect and the new command and faction additions are awesome. Good stuff fellas.

hmm not bad..

Connected to the server fine on 2nd tentative test.. disconnected quite a few times due to large amount of people around or the server shutting down.. Once I got in very far distance of the outpost i was no longer getting disconnected from the server, and it was swift after that.

During dueling jedi's, the posture change move didnt register , or saber throw (saber knockdown) move didnt register all that much eather. IN PRECU SWG, I would guess (based on my personal gaming exp).. 70% of the time they would register. But in SWGEMUCORE3 it must've been registering nearly around 10-20% of the time.

( EDIT: I did a little re-wording to make it sound right. Which would be closer to what I was thinking. I smoke herb. )

Other than that, everything else looks fantastic, chat was good. And thats all you need to know from me

Kudos to Oru, Ultyma & Ramsey, etc.

Posture changes and knockdowns were never set to land 70% of the time. It was based on the person's defense vs posture change and defense vs knockdown. Since there are no defense mods in Core3 yet, it can't base it off that. Hence, it's completely random.

When I played I had little to no lag. Combat wise I had no lag but my chat logged quite a bit. Otherwise I had no lag I did disconnect quite a bit but I haven't played since the 2nd Stress test.

I fixed my post, and did a little re-wording to make it sound right.. My bad dude I didnt mean it that way exactly in the beginning, wasn't trying to be accurate. It was just for a percent example, from my experience.
