[LPE Issues] 10/05/2009

Hi folks,

There is currently a problem with LaunchPadEnhanced. You may launch the the game manually by running 'Swgemu.exe' found in your c:\swgemu directory (or location where you installed the emu). Please note that this method with only work if you have successfully patched the client with LPE previously and the client is in good working order. We hope to have LPE restored in working order very soon.

Thank you.

*Edit* - If you ran a full scan in LPE today after this issue popped up, it is possible LPE deleted the exe from c:\swgemu with the idea it would be repaired. However, currently LPE isnt talking to the server it needs to repair files. Therefore, LPE never gets the chance to fix the client exe.

Thanks for the info. Look forward to an update!

/bow

EDIT: QQ, though. I'm searching for swgemu.exe on my machine but can't find it. All I have under the C:\SWGEmu directory is swgemu_setup.exe. Am I missing something?
P.S., Sorry if this is a dumb question... Mondays...

I tried doing a full scan, but it just tries reloading LPE. I think that's part of what's going on (or at least a symptom). Try following odwill's instructions if you can. As you can see, I've not had luck finding the proper executable.

I am having the same problem. I don't have a swgemu.exe in the folder. So what kind of patch/fix caused this to happen?

To find your swgemu.exe right click on your start menu, click explore, then go to your SWGEmu files, and scroll down til you find the .exe file. Should be pretty easy to find.

I think not having the .exe is the problem.
