I just switched from 1.0 to 2.0, and for a brief moment, I felt physical pain in my eyes.

Great! Eventhough you haven't completed the restructure, it is still nice to hear about your progress! ;-) Keep up the good work!

For the time being, it would be good to continue testing. The reason the tasks list has not been updated is partially because the devs are not working on bug fixes until after the restructure is completed and partially an oversight while everyone has been busy on the restructure. Look for the task list to be updated soon.

then why test? if the devs aren't fixing bugs that are being reported, and I would assume a lot of the bugs will be fixed due ot the restructure.....

Because it's always good to shed light on bugs even if they're going to be fixed or not. There's no saying the object restructure WILL fix said bugs, but its good to know about them just in case.

Bug reports can help guide the direction that is taken in the restructure and are still useful. If we weren't still using information from the reports then why would QA be taking the time to verify things?

More information is always better. Sure, some things may change, but it can't hurt. Plus I KNOW you want to help in any way you can... right?
