I have not posted many, if not any comments, and I didn't register till a bit ago, but I have been following this for a few years now, and I want to thank the Dev Team for making SWGemu, and to congratulate them on what an awesome job they have done so far. I'm sure we will see even greater things in the future.

On another note, I just read the comment above that talked about the code stream, and I checked it out for the first time. Can someone explain to me what it all means? When something has been committed for example, does that mean a bug has been reported and they are working on it? or a code they are working on for something that is being implemented? I really have no idea. Thanks guys

First of all, welcome to the community
I think this code stream page is for viewing the process of the development of swgemu, as part of the open source process. To us that just means that parts of the code are getting updated/completed, and we are getting closer and closer to the finish of the OR and eventually SC beta. Don't quote me on this one though.

Not to flame or anything, but how are they "thrashing" through the OR.

They said they'd probably be done sometime by the end of August.

I don't consider that "thrashing" by any means.

Well for a while it was like two committed updates every other day now its 5 every day. Its probably not completely represenative of progress but its relatively a good sign.

The point is: the updates are coming faster and more often so in a way someone may consider it thrashing. good day.

There aren't any updates because no updates are being worked on. They are working on an Object Restructure will which streamline the teams work and make it easier to work on new updates.

Welcome to the community by the way. Take a look at the link in my sig it'll answer all of your questions, you can send me a PM as well if you need too.
