Wow, some new stuff in there, Oru. Glad to hear the willingness to work with ever MORE people to get things done, and it's great to hear how much you appreciate the open-source guys, and recognize how much it has helped.

Also very interesting to hear your thoughts on ripping content, I didn't know that was on the radar.

I also found it warming to see how much Oru appreciated the the soldiers of open-source working on the project, as I believe the other devs probably do as well! Keep it up Open-Source guys the entire community appreciated your work as well!

I'm not as cynical as Oru that public release could cause a lack of really large population servers becoming available. Hopefully competition will give the players some interesting choices as far as game content goes, and people will also naturally tend to vote for the best managed servers with their feet. So both quality and populations should be high.

Also, Sony at one time had something like twenty+ SWG servers filled up. And I see only about five or six emulator server sites right now looking like they might be serious players (and that's including SWGemu itself). So what happens if all the old style mmorpg players - sick to death of the pedestrian swill that's now being tossed on the market - decide to make a better choice?

I'm not saying it could be WoW type numbers, but I wouldn't think the numbers that used to play Sony's old SWG itself (300,000 - 400,000 accounts) is totally out of the question either.

I cant use either links... I wonder if port 81 is blocked here at work :(

sorry for that port war :)

on :80 we are using php4 for some older stuffz, we need to port them to php5, then when it will ready we will use the standard :80 port for the web access.

if you have problems with non standard ports (like your admin blocks access to :81), you should use an online "proxy site".

here is a link for one: http://proxify.com/
and a direct link to that interview, using proxify (with that you will use :80, instead of :81): hope this will work (http://proxify.com/p/000010A1000100/687474703a2f2f7777772e6461726a616e692e6f72673a3831 2f6e6577732e7068703f657874656e642e3132312e37)

sorry for the inconveniences.
