[FORUM] Regarding Sun Crusher Questions

Hi Everyone

Discussing and spreading hype about Sun Crusher is really exciting, and we're so glad to see everyone getting into it.

There are an infinite number of "Will there be..." or "How will you..." questions, and sadly most of the answers we have for you at this stage will be "We really haven't decided yet".

We love seeing everyone discuss topics and analyse how the game works, but in terms of fiscal answers; we really don't have one for most questions people want to ask.

The Sun Crusher forums will be opened soon, and we will certainly spread the word when it is. This is the place where you will be able to ask all those questions, and where the Community and Staff will start to make decisions about how Sun Crusher will be run upon release.

The new forums will also feature community sections for the Sun Crusher Test Centre - where players will be able to participate and interact like it was over at the SWG forums.

The announcement said Q1 of 2009... if that goal can be reached, it will be before April 1 2009. If it cannot be reached, then well, it can't. All depends upon the success of development and many operational issues.

ETA's like this are very rare on R&D based development projects (particularly voluntary ones).

I'm pretty anxious too, but I'm not dreaming about it yet... I am hoping It doesn't take me more than a year to unlock Jedi, I believe I read a post somewhere someone was anticipating 6-9 months, that would be cool.

it was around that back at live when the first ones started to unlock, though this time everyone knows from the start how to do it. unless the server decides to keep it secret.

Only devs can give you the answer to that question. And they don't like giving ETA's and tend no to do it.

For the rest of us, well we can only guess, but that doesn't really help you, does it?

first thing, it will not be a TC, it's will be a live server. 2nd thing, release date was pushed back for SC to I believe June 30. 3rd thing, they will post updates when they have em. they are good like that..yeah, i said it. I said like that.

Just wondering if anyone had heard or know if once SC is released and gets going with all sorts of characters, and then the next live 100% complete verson is done, will the rest of the game be added to SC or will have to start all over after the game is 100% complete....tell me if im not making sense.....it wont be the last time or the first....

My question is....Once the devs have all of the game ready for release, meaning space, jedi, etc. will it be implimted into SC as we can just keep playing with our created avatars or will SC be torn down, forcing everyone to start over with a new Avatar?

Here's your update: They're cleaning codes and making sure everything works right. We don't even have all the Schematics for everything on Nova, I'm not sure the status of CH or BE and vehcials are currently bugged so they're being worked on. If you want a good idea on how far Sun Crusher is go download LPE and play, that'll give you a great idea as to how far they are and you'll see updates as they get them put there first. In Jan 2009 they posted June 2009, In June they posted sometime in Q4. Really when going for Quality as the team is doing there is no ETA, just have faith and wait calmly. At the very latest right now I think it valid to say no later than Q3 2010.
