Recently, there has been an increase of community members causing trouble and casting a negative image on the SWGEmu community and project. While people may be directing these towards people who are seemingly unable to follow the rules, please remember that forum moderation is taken care of by others. Please do not try to take actions into your own hands.

The best thing anyone can do is to use the REPORT function available in the top right corner of all posts. PLEASE use this feature to help our moderators out by giving them a heads up before threads/issues become out of hand. Use the report feature to inform us of threads you believe violate SWGEmu's Terms of Use.

The SWGEmu Terms of Use can be found here (http://www.swgemu.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18261)
The infraction system can be found here (http://www.swgemu.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17538)

I don't mind helping the mods at all, but why can't they help us in return. I have seen many a thread be closed with no explanation. how is someone supposed to learn what they did was wrong when no explanation was given?

It should be in everyones best intrest whether new, old, or somewhere in the middle to review the Terms of Use and the Infraction system.

If your post is deleted and for some reason you do not understand why, please PM the forum Moderator that deleted it and ask. No one wants to be the bad guy but the bottom line is that we have to have a set of rules and they have to be followed.

I just had 3 of my posts closed with no explanation, yes one of them was obvious, and probably stupid of me, the first, i was posting a legitimate question. it was partially posted out of fun, and partially out of frustration of the day i had. I just re-read the rules, and in no way shape or form did it violate any of the forum rules. you want us to act in accordance with the rules? I have no problem with that. but mods need to act a certian way as well. kind of reminds me of another forums and how the mods acted there.....

As another CSR just stated, please PM any concerns you have to a moderator. Please do not post off-topic comments in this thread.

I will certainly be using this from now on. Thanks for reminding us, I had forgotten about it.
