I don't think I could handle being a lowly tester, I mean, does it come with benefits?

As a QA member, it is your primary responsibility to find, report and keep track of exploits and bugs. So, yes, definitely.

The respect, consideration and knowledge that you are assisting and involved in such an exciting project? I suppose I've never considered any benefits. If it is reward you are looking for, it is perhaps unwise to apply.

QA is the leading, driving force behind making the emulator software better for its end users.

Will I have to helplessly watch the game get "changed" and "redesigned" from it's original glory?

SWGEmu is dedicated to creating a direct 14.1 replica. Asside from temporary patches for the Test Centre which are not specific clones of 14.1 due to concessions which must be made for testing to ensue, no you will not have to work on anything that is "changed" from the original game, nor will we be producing such features.

Are all QA members of <DRAKE> or just most of them?

I don't know who is in DRAKE and who isn't, but it is just a community guild, with no meaning what so ever to the project's operation.

Do I have to join <DRAKE> and promise not to DB them anymore?

Most definitely not. As above, DRAKE has nothing to do with SWGEmu aside from being one of many community guilds.

Would I have to change my siggy?

While it is customary to include your title and a few helpful links in your signature as a staff member, no, you will not be forced to change your signature.

You'll need to be able to be in IRC as often as you're testing, and all the time if possible to stay up to speed. This isn't a decorative staff title, it's real work, so step up to the plate!

With each passing day, the Emu gets better and better, and with that, I get more and more passionate about wanting to contribute. I don't think anyone could measure how BADLY I want to be signed on to this, especially knowing how community-driven this whole development is.

I know college is proving to be a cramp (because I'm in college with the rest of you GODS), and I don't want anything to be rushed (especially with the sake of the project in mind), but I mean this has been the coolest title ever: STAFF, but with each passing hour, it only gets more and more rad!

Guys,I'm sorry that im posting here but when i tried to login in the 'Bug repport' it writes me 'u accaunt maby disabled or u input incorrect password/usename' so i will say this here-today(08.10.09)when i disconnect from the game and after 1 min connected again its just saying 'loading galaxy' and stays like this and when i check the status was 'All SWGEmu servers are up'.I'm just asking are you doing some work oday and u close the server at the same time or i have a f*cking problem again for the 7 time now.(and I forget to say-i tryed to login again in the game after 1 hour and this happened again)

To be able to post on Bug Tracker you need to register there, user name and password from this forum wont work.


As for not being able to re-log, there is a server cap which is between 800 and 1000 instances logged in at one moment, and 2 instances per account cap to. So if you are unable to log on just leave it connecting, you will get it when someone else logs off.

This is not a bug and doesn't need reporting though.
